The surprisingly affordable Smoke Extreme by Tru-Fire incorporates a tried-and-true Hurricane dual caliper design to create the most dependable wrist strap-style release on the market. Tested to 200lbs of pulling weight and designed to meet the needs of bowhunters of all levels, the Smoke Extreme utilizes spring-loaded jaws with a linear bearing system and a Tru-Forward trigger-finger to activate the compact, dime-sized (0.623-inch diameter) release head. With an adjustable travel range, the trigger’s release point leaves the factory set at approximately 4.5 ounces, and when the trigger is released, the spring-loaded jaws return to the closed position. Featuring Tru-Fire’s famously comfortable Extreme buckle strap with patented and exclusive Tru-Fire Trap Tab closure system and Foldback Ring design the release can be flipped back 180-degrees for convenient storage while not in use.
